Revamping

A great way to restore a product to its full potential

Revamping of speed reducers, gear wheels...

Revamping is the overhauling and restoration of speed reducers and gear wheels so that a worn or damaged product can be restored to its full potential.
It also aims to improve the performance of a product and overcome the technological limits that existed when it was first designed. In this way, the product is developed to requirements that are based on the current technological background (structural limits of the product permitting).

The aim of revamping is to reduce investment costs, while at the same time guaranteeing a product that offers reliable, satisfactory performance.

POSSIBLE APPLICATIONSWhat we can do...

Other manufacturers

Fachini Gears S.p.A. revamps speed reducers of all brands and types. It dismantles and checks the product and then carries out special maintenance on it to bring it to the same level of efficiency as a new product.

Tooth profile

In some cases, the tooth profile of a wheel can be restored, something that requires special analysis. Re-adjustment of the gearing is linked to replacement of the pinion which is designed according to the new geometry of the wheel teeth profiles.

Analysis and consultancy

Fachini Gears technicians can help you assess the advantages of revamping your products (compared with designing and building a replacement product) and give you information on the possibilities of restoring them to full efficiency.
