Drive girth gear in 2/2 for mill drive

The wheel has been made in a sandblasted and annealed electro-welded structure following our standard procedure.
The external ring has been supplied in 34CrMo4 UNI EN10083 tempered forged steel with a hardness >240 HB and subjected to ultrasonic testing.
The remaining parts have been built in S275JR EN 10025 steel.
Full penetration welding has been used on the external ring where fastened to the central part. All the welding has been subjected to ultrasonic, magnaflux and liquid penetrant testing.
Gear cutting has been done using a high precision gear cutting machine that can guarantee quality grade 7/8 in compliance with DIN 3962.
