• Slow speed shafts in hardened and tempered 39 NiCrMo3 UNI EN 10083 alloy steel
• Roller bearings (SKF-FAG) sized for a LH10 life > 50,000 hours
• Perfectly oil tight casing in electro-welded steel S355J2 G3 UNI EN 10025, shaped and ribbed for maximum rigidity. After welding, the casing is submitted to weld stress relieving and then sandblasted and painted The casing also has inspection hatches, oil fill and drain holes and levelling screws

Forced-feed lubrication on machine consisting of:

• gear motor pump with motor + dampers
• supply oil filter (2 spare cartridges)
• thermometer
• minimum pressure switch
• air/oil heat exchanger
• flow indicator with electric contacts
• glycerine-filled visual pressure gauge with tap
• relief valve at end of circuit
• 2 heaters (1 kW each)
